We had a great evening last night. I was very happy to see WB Steve Morosko and the Brethren from Canton 60 on the sidelines. I encourage all of our Brethren to visit them and Trinity as well. I’ve said it before….we all share the same home so we should get to know them. WB Kostolich did a great job with our program…I’m sure everyone learned something new. Thanks to all that were there. Our next stated meeting will be a fun one, ” Show and Tell” night. Looking forward to seeing some interesting items and the stories that follow.

Great meeting tonight Brethren. As always it was nice to see WB Steve Morosko and his brethren from Canton #60 thanks for coming. I was honored to have Brother Jack Conway with me as my special guest in the east. He has always cone through for the Lodge. We saw some really cool items tonight for our “Show and Tell” program. Big thanks to our Senior Warden and Junior Deacon for the great meal and covering for the Stewards. All in all a great evening another example of what Masonry is all about.

Well….its official we will be doing the 2nd section of the Master Mason degree at Grand Master’s one day class at our Temple. Our inspection in the Fellowcraft degree is the night before. It’s time to get our game faces on. I will announce the practice schedule soon.

funeral thank you
Big Thank You to all the Brethren that showed up for the funeral yesterday for our departed brother Robert A. Williams. Everyone did an excellent job. As most of you know my biggest concern about being the Master of the Lodge is funerals…well that isn’t a big concern anymore because everyone that was asked was there and then some. It is very comforting to know that a Masons word is Gold…no pun intended…which makes me even more honored to be a part of such a great institution.

New Flash Card
Hello Brethren , our stated meetings program for tomorrow night will be a newer version of the flash card that a candidate would view prior to initiation. This should be an interesting program. Our Memorial service for our departed brethren will be on the 24th of this month. We will also conduct a complete funeral service. Our first stated meeting in February our program will be ” The Rusty Nail Degree ” and our last stated we will have ” Show and Tell ” this is a fun night. You really get to know the brethren by some of the things they bring. So bring an item and a story. I am looking forward to seeing all of you, so come on out and have some fun.

Freemasonry is illumination
Freemasonry is illumination through knowledge, power through brotherhood and tranformation from a good to a better man. Once you go through it, you never look at anything the same. It opens eyes, hearts and minds. Granted, the seeker seeks the illumination (You get out of it what put in it)

One of the best answers I’ve heard when asked what freemasonry is all about. And who would have thought that our JW is a wordsmith. Lol
